Our greenhouse structure, made mainly out of transparent material keeps our plants regulated in a climatic condition allowing them to continually grow all year round. Our greenhouse currently spans 12,000 square feet which allows us to grow more than 30 types of vegetables or fruits in our greenhouse.

GreenhouseOur Greenhouse has undergone some recent restructuring and reorganization of crops and flower beds. The Our Sustenance team will be re-planting fruits, vegetables and herbs in September 2018 to be ready for harvest early 2019.

Once the greenhouse reaches full functionality, the majority of produce will be available for purchase to the public, while some will be used for fresh cafe menu ingredients.

Plant SalesThroughout the year we plan to have seasonal plant sales which will coincide with special occasions and holidays. Be sure to follow us on social media to be in-the-know on all the details and upcoming dates!

In conjunction with the Six Nations Farmers Association, we are working to prepare the farmland behind the Greenhouse for the 2019 planting season.  Our plans are to include traditional foods such as strawberries, corn, beans and squash.

SeedlingsIn the late spring, it is ideal to get all of your seeds in the ground for their prime growing season. The greenhouse here at Our Sustenance will be offering a variety of seedlings which can be brought home to help get you started in planting your own garden 🙂
